Section titled “46 Automatic exemption from celebrant registration charge—person resigns as a marriage celebrant etc.”The Registrar of Marriage Celebrants must exempt a person from liability to pay celebrant registration charge in respect of a financial year if the person:
(a) has not paid the charge; and
(b) notifies the Registrar, after the start of the financial year and before the end of the charge payment day, that the person:
(i) no longer wishes to be registered as a marriage celebrant; or
(ii) has become a minister of religion of a recognised denomination.
