9A Persons who may exercise certain powers may be restricted by Proclamation
Section titled “9A Persons who may exercise certain powers may be restricted by Proclamation”(1) The Governor‑General may, by Proclamation, declare that, on and after a date fixed by the Proclamation, a power or function under this Act that is specified in the Proclamation, being a power or function expressed by this Act to be exercisable by a Judge, or by a Judge or magistrate, is not to be exercised, or is not to be exercised in a specified part of Australia, otherwise than by a Judge who is a Judge of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 1), the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) or the Family Court of a State.
(2) Proclamations under this Part in respect of different parts of Australia may be made from time to time.
